Appointment Terms & Conditions

1. Nature of Service

• SurveyMitra is a private land survey facilitation platform. We are NOT a government body, revenue department, or patwari office.
• Survey reports provided through SurveyMitra are private professional documentsand are not equivalent to official government survey records.
• The survey is conducted by an independent contracted surveyor — not a SurveyMitra employee. SurveyMitra acts only as an intermediary platform.

2. Booking Eligibility

To book an appointment, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are the owner of, or have legal authorization to survey, the property in question
• The property is not subject to a court stay order or active legal injunction preventing survey work
• You have informed all co-owners or interested parties about the planned survey (where applicable)
• The information you provide (location, land type, contact details) is accurate and complete

3. Booking Process & Confirmation

• Fill the appointment form with your name, phone, email, property address (state/district/tehsil/village/pincode), service type, and preferred date
• Complete payment via Razorpay. The booking is confirmed ONLY after successful payment
• A booking confirmation email and SMS is sent to you immediately after payment
• A surveyor is auto-assigned based on your tehsil/district within 24–48 hours
• You will be notified by email/SMS when a surveyor is assigned to your case

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Platform Booking Fee (Paid Online)

• This fee is for SurveyMitra's platform and intermediary services
• Accepted via Razorpay: UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card
• All prices are in INR and inclusive of applicable GST
• A GST Tax Invoice is emailed to you upon confirmed payment
• This fee is non-refundable — see our Refund Policy

4.2 Surveyor Service Fee (Paid at Site)

• This is a separate fee paid in cash directly to the surveyor on the day of the site visit
• The amount is based on your land size, service complexity, and traveldistance — agreed between you and the surveyor
• SurveyMitra does not mediate or collect the surveyor's service fee
• A typical range for private survey services in Madhya Pradesh is ₹1,500–₹5,000 depending on land size

5. Before the Survey — Customer Obligations

• Be Reachable: The assigned surveyor will call you on your registered phone number to confirm the appointment. Ensure you are reachable.
• Site Access: Ensure the surveyor can enter the property. If the land is locked, in a restricted zone, or requires third-party permission, arrange this in advance.
• Presence Required: You or an authorized representative must be physically present at the site during the survey to guide the surveyor and acknowledge boundaries.
• Neighboring Landowners: If boundary demarcation is involved, we strongly recommend informing adjacent landowners before the survey to avoid disputes.
• Documents: Have available any existing maps, khasra numbers, or prior survey documents to assist the surveyor.

6. On the Day of Survey

• The surveyor will arrive at or near the scheduled date and time (may vary by ±2 hours)
• The surveyor uses professional equipment — do not obstruct or interfere with the equipment or measurements
• Physical markers or boundary pegs may be placed by the surveyor — do not relocate them until report is received
• Pay the surveyor's service fee in cash at the end of the visit
• If you disagree with any measurement during the survey, raise it immediately with the surveyor on-site. Post-survey disputes are harder to resolve.

7. After the Survey

• The surveyor will share the survey report with you via WhatsApp or Email within 1–7 working days
• If you have not received your report after 7 days, contact the surveyor first. If unresponsive, contact SurveyMitra.
• Review your report carefully upon receipt. Request corrections within 7 days of delivery.
• The surveyor marks the appointment complete in the SurveyMitra system after the site visit

8. Rescheduling & Cancellation

• Rescheduling is available with 48+ hours notice at no extra cost (up to 2 times)

• Cancellations do not entitle you to a refund of the platform fee
• No-shows (absent without 48-hour notice) forfeit the booking

9. Limitation of Liability for Survey Reports

• Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the survey report produced by the independent surveyor
• Any boundary disputes, property conflicts, or legal issues arising from the survey results
• Any actions taken by you or third parties based on the survey report
• The report's legal admissibility in any government office, court, or revenue authority
• Personal injury, property damage, or accidents during the surveyor's site visit

SurveyMitra's liability is limited strictly to facilitating the appointment booking. Our maximum liability in any case shall not exceed the platform booking fee you paid.

10. Dispute Resolution

• Survey Quality: Disputes about survey quality must first be raised with the surveyor directly
• Platform Mediation: If unresolved, escalate to contact@surveymitra.com within 30 days of the survey date
• Consumer Forum: You retain the right to approach the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019
• Jurisdiction: All disputes are subject to the courts of Indore, Madhya Pradesh

11. Acceptance of Terms

By clicking "Book Now," completing the appointment form, and making payment, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Appointment Terms & Conditions
• You agree to the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy
• You are legally authorized to book this survey
• You accept the non-refundable nature of the platform booking fee
