Service Delivery Policy

Note: SurveyMitra is a service-based platform — we do not ship any physical goods. This policy replaces a traditional "Shipping Policy" and describes how our land survey services are delivered to you after booking.

1. How Service Delivery Works

After you complete your booking and payment, service is delivered in the following stages:

Stage 1 — Booking Confirmation (Immediate)

  • Booking confirmation SMS and email sent to your registered number and email
  • Your appointment is created in our system with status: Lead Generated

Stage 2 — Surveyor Assignment (Within 24–48 hours)

  • A qualified surveyor in your tehsil/district is automatically assigned
  • You will receive a notification (email/SMS) when a surveyor is assigned
  • If no surveyor is available in your area, our admin will contact you to discuss options
  • Appointment status updates to: Assigned

Stage 3 — Pre-Survey Contact

  • The assigned surveyor will contact you via phone before the scheduled date to confirm the site visit
  • The surveyor will confirm date, time, and any entry requirements for the property
  • Ensure your registered phone number is reachable

Stage 4 — Site Visit (On Scheduled Date)

  • The surveyor arrives at the property on or near the scheduled date/time
  • You or an authorized representative must be present to provide access
  • Survey duration ranges from 2 to 8 hours depending on property size and service type
  • The surveyor uses professional-grade equipment (DGPS, Total Station, or Tape-chain methods)
  • You pay the surveyor's service fee directly in cash at the time of the visit

Stage 5 — Survey Report Delivery

  • The surveyor prepares and delivers the survey report via WhatsApp or Email to you directly
  • Report delivery is the surveyor's responsibility and typically occurs within 1–7 working days after the site visit
  • SurveyMitra does not directly control report delivery — contact your surveyor for updates
  • If there are issues with report delivery, contact us and we will follow up with the surveyor

Stage 6 — Appointment Closure

  • The surveyor marks the appointment as Complete in the SurveyMitra dashboard after the visit
  • The appointment status moves to Commission Pending
  • Once the surveyor pays the ₹500 platform commission, the case is marked Closed

2. Service Delivery Timelines

  • Booking Confirmation: Immediate (within 5 minutes of payment)
  • Surveyor Assignment: Within 24–48 hours of booking
  • Site Visit: On the date selected during booking (subject to surveyor availability)
  • Survey Report: 1–7 working days after site visit (surveyor's responsibility)

These timelines are indicative. Actual times may vary based on location remoteness, surveyor workload, weather, and property complexity. SurveyMitra does not provide guaranteed delivery timelines for survey reports.

3. Survey Report Format

Survey reports are typically delivered as:

  • Digital format: PDF document shared via WhatsApp or Email
  • Contents: Property measurements, boundary demarcation sketch, surveyor certification
  • Physical copies: Not provided by SurveyMitra. You may request a physical copy from the surveyor at an additional cost agreed directly with them

⚠️ सेवा की प्रकृति (Private Survey Only): SurveyMitra survey reports are private professional assessments meant for mutual division and personal knowledge. We DO NOT offer official government "seemankan" services. Therefore, our reports do not automatically update government land records (revenue/patwari office), which requires the official procedure under the MP Land Revenue Code.

4. Customer Responsibilities for Service Delivery

  • Provide correct and complete property location (village, tehsil, district, pincode)
  • Ensure someone is present at the property on the survey date to grant access
  • Keep your registered phone number reachable for surveyor coordination
  • Clear any obstacles (crops, construction debris) that may impede the survey if possible
  • Inform us of any legal disputes, government restrictions, or access issues related to the property before booking

5. Service Issues & Overdue Surveys

5.1 Surveyor Did Not Arrive

If the surveyor does not arrive on the scheduled date without prior notice:

  • Contact us at contact@surveymitra.com or +91 91318 62212 immediately
  • We will investigate and either reschedule or reassign a different surveyor
  • No additional charge applies for surveyor-initiated failures

5.2 Survey Not Marked Complete (Overdue)

If the surveyor does not mark the appointment complete within 7 days of the scheduled survey date, the appointment is automatically flagged as Overdue in our system:

  • The surveyor receives an automatic warning email at Day 3, Day 5, and Day 7
  • The admin is notified and will take action — either marking complete or cancelling
  • If you know your survey was completed, contact us to manually update the status

5.3 Report Quality Issues

If you believe the survey report contains errors:

  • Contact the surveyor directly first for clarification
  • If unresolved, escalate to us at contact@surveymitra.com with your Booking ID
  • We will mediate between you and the surveyor

6. Force Majeure

SurveyMitra and its surveyors are not liable for delivery delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including: floods, heavy rains, government restrictions, curfews, pandemics, or any other act of God. In such cases, rescheduling will be arranged at no extra cost.
